The Officers and Directors of Blue Mountain Wildlife invite you to join us for the Twenty-Second Annual Membership Meeting and Banquet. This is always a wonderful opportunity to meet the folks who give a bit of themselves to protect and improve the Kerny, to find out what’s been going on at the Kerny and what’s being planned for the future, and to join and enjoy our little community. The Banquet will be held at The Loft in C.J. Hummel’s Restaurant in Lenhartsville on Friday January 30th. The festivities begin at 6:00 p.m. with the committee reports, election of officers, honors ceremony and “A Look Ahead”. This year, we will be enjoying a buffet meal, which will include tossed salad, choice of two entrees (turkey or roast beef) and three sides (mashed potatoes, corn and green beans), fruits, dinner rolls and non-alcoholic drinks. After the meal service, will will have a slate of presenters featuring the presentation of the draft Kernsville Dam Recreation Area Master Plan 2026. The Annual Banquet has been growing in popularity over the last several years and, although reservations are not required, it is requested that you RSVP by January 27th. Blue Mountain Wildlife is updating its 2009 Open Space Plan for the Kernsville Dam Recreation Area and is presenting it’s vision of the Kerny after the dam is removed. We've put together the first draft and want your opinion.

Work up an appetite for Taste of Hamburg-er Festival by running the Dine & Dash. Start by downing a burger. Then run a mile. Then down another burger. Then finish it off with another mile run. What could be better!

COURSE: The beautiful and flat Richard Etchberger Trail along the scenic Schuylkill River. The race starts with the consumption of one hamburger, followed by a 1-mile run, the consumption of the second hamburger and a 1-mile run back to the finish line.
