The Officers and Directors of Blue Mountain Wildlife invite you to join us for the Fifteenth Annual Membership Meeting and Banquet. This is always a wonderful opportunity to meet the folks who give a bit of themselves to protect and improve the Kerny, to find out what’s been going on at the Kerny and what’s being planned for the future, and to join and enjoy our little community. The Banquet will be held at The Loft in C.J. Hummel’s Restaurant in Lenhartsville on Friday January 25th. The festivities begin at 6:00 p.m. with the committee reports, election of officers, honors ceremony and “A Look Ahead”. This year, we will be enjoying a buffet meal, which will include tossed salad, choice of two entrees (turkey or roast beef) and three sides (mashed potatoes, corn and string beans almondine), fruits, dinner rolls and non-alcoholic drinks for $20 per person. After the meal service, we have scheduled a guest speaker from PennDOT to discuss the Wetlands Mitigation Plans for the I-78 Improvement Project, and a speaker from PA DEP to discuss the status of the plans to remove the Kernsville Dam. The Annual Banquet has been growing in popularity over the last several years and, although reservations are not required, it is recommended that you RSVP by January 23rd.
